As we all know, if you need to fight evil, you don’t hire a plumber, you get a Belmont.  Or an elf, commando, robot, or an armored warrior woman.

Or at least that’s the lesson learned when you play Super Mario Crossover, a game that lets you play as Simon Belmont, Link, Samus Aran, Bill R (from contra),  Megaman, and yes, even Mario, through the original Super Mario Brothers game.  Each character has their own trademarked weapons and power ups too.  If this isn’t what Webster had in mind when he added “Epic” to his dictionary, then he didn’t know the meaning of the word.
