If you attempt to make a payment on a card, and that card does not exist anymore, please don’t process that payment anyway and renew my account, then wonder why you never got the money from that card…
That is seriously what they did. Instead of letting my gold account go to silver, they renewed it, and waited for me to magically cause the money to appear. I couldn’t edit the card number. I couldn’t delete it. And I couldn’t use my prepaid live subscription card.
And then when I call support to fix it, please don’t have your agents repeat myself, and themselves a hundred times. And if I interrupt their five minute long speech asking if they can put me on hold while they go find someone to ask how they are supposed to do their job to tell them that yes, they can put me on hold, have them shut up and place me on hold, don’t have them keep babbling on about nothing for hours on end. I got shit to do damn it, shut up, fix the problem, and let me go.
Also, when your system dies because it can’t handle a canceled credit card number, don’t try and tell me that you are fixing my problem as a one time courtesy (she said this at least five times in a row) because the way I see it, if I hadn’t called, I would have gotten free live service for life. Your dumb asses would have just kept renewing it automatically without actually receiving the payment.
So FUCK YOU, next time, I’ll just keep the free gold account.
