Like many of you, I saw February 14th as a special day.  Being single however, I did not spend it with a special someone.  Instead, I spent it with a special something, my new Springfield 1911.

This new addition joins my other two guns, a Taurus Judge, and a Remington 770

And since I wasn’t the only one to buy a new gun, we all decided to go out and shoot things.  These things being snow men.  I had the idea of attempting to put bottles filled with red water in them inside the snow men, that way when you shot them, they would bleed out.  And of course, I took video of the whole thing.  I’ll leave out the embarrassing black powder shots and go straight to the good shots.  I’ll start off with the only bleeding snowman that we were able to get:

And follow it up with another of my Remington 770 blowing up Frosty’s head.

We have a few ideas to make them better, but don’t know if the snow will hold out long enough for our next shoot.  If it doesn’t, well, I’ll find something else that’s fun to shoot.  I’ll also try to remember to turn the camera on for most of it too…

I don't think I heard the "you suck" part until you mentioned it…

Now I really am tempted to upload all the muzzle loader fail videos.

Heck, I'm married and I still spent the day with my New model blackhawk!
Also tannerite should be fun to shoot! I'll have to see if I have some old electronics laying about
