You have probably heard about the Church of the Jedi phenomenon sweeping the con scene and making waves over in the UK. I have to ask myself, what kind of idiot do you have to be to base your religion on the writings of a science fiction movie? Isn’t that like, at least three steps below fanfic writer?
Recently, these ass clowns are making news because their leader, whom I believe to be one of the suave lady killers pictured above, was thrown out of a supermarket for not removing his hood.
Daniel Jones, 23, who has 500,000 followers worldwide, was told the hood flouted store rules and was ordered to remove it or leave the supermarket.
As a result Jones, who also goes by the Jedi name Morda Hehol, claims he has been ‘victimised over his beliefs’ and left ‘emotionally humiliated’ by the supermarket in Bangor, North Wales. via Dailymail
It seems that due to the teachings of the Jedi Council, a Jedi Knight has to wear their hood up when they leave the house. I’m not sure where these teachings come from, as there are many many examples of Jedi not wearing their hood while out and about. This is a fact pointed out by the spokesperson of the store:
A Tesco spokesperson said: ‘He hasn’t been banned. Jedis are very welcome to shop in our stores although we would ask them to remove their hoods.
‘Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all appeared hoodless without ever going over to the Dark Side and we are only aware of the Emperor as one who never removed his hood.
Really? Just how big of a cry baby do you have to be to threaten legal action over your made up religion? I thought Jedi were supposed to be tough guys. I thought that you were supposed to be great leaders. I mean, who the hell ever heard of a whiny Jedi?
