Topless Robot has two interesting articles.  The first is about a new Bruce Campbell movie.  The good news is that it’s features Bruce as a samurai.  The bad news, is that it’s only Bruce as the voice of said samurai.  Bruce Campbell takes the lead as the young samurai Muramoto, who is a womanizer who goes a little too far with the Clan Leader’s Daughter, leading to all the blood and action one can expect from an 80′s samurai flick.  It’s a remastered release of Ambush at Blood-Trail Gate, featuring an all new English language audio track.    According to Twitch, the original Japanese language track had been damaged and was unrecoverable, which led to this new English language dub.

The second article features those books we all love to hate, Twilight.  The good news is that it appears that Stephanie Meyer is being sued.  Jordan Scott (now 21) states that the Twilight book “Breaking Dawn” bears a little too much of a resemblance to the the vampire novel she wrote when she was 15 tittled “The Nocturne”.  The bad news would be that in order to actually see if there is any merit, you have to read both a 15 year old girls steamy vampire romance novel, and a Twilight book.  If you want to see just exactly what makes these two so similiar, you are free to read about it all here.  Personally however, I’m going to watch the trailer for Ambush again and hope that Twilight goes away and never comes back

More bad news…

“Ah, you clever lads, you figured it out.  Ambush At Blood Trail Gate doesn’t actually exist … what follows is really a viral video for indie comedy White On Rice, Blood Trail Gate being a fictional film that the lead character of WoR has a bit part in and watches early on in WoR.  That really is Bruce Campbell, though.” via Twitch
