So I check the tracking info on the PC that I ordered.  I was pretty happy to see that it showed that I would receive it in two days instead of the 5 to 7 days that HP said.  Awesome, right?

But no, they were wrong.  I check the tracking, at 4:35 am, my PC left El Paso, at 9:23 PM, it arrived in Fort Worth.  It’s an 600 mile trip, and it should take 8 hours, maybe a little more for a couple of bathroom breaks and a lunch, but not the 15 hours that it did take.  Then it took a little longer and it left Fort Worth for Pittsburgh, a 19 hour drive.  That was a couple of days ago.  While I’m sure that it takes the scenic route, dropping off packages at other cities, and the driver probably gets to sleep at some point, it still shouldn’t take that long.  What really gets me is that they can’t even tell me where the truck is or the last city it stopped at.

Don’t all these trucks have GPS set up in them?  Don’t they know where all their trucks are at any time?  Now I’m not asking to know what street they are on, but knowing at least where they are passing through would be nice.  Just a little line stating the closest major city.  Is that so much to ask.  At least that way I would know.

***UPDATE!***

It’s made it to Grove City Ohio, less than 200 miles.  Only three hours away.  I should have it by sometime next week…

***UPDATE AGAIN!***

Figures, once I start to bitch, they deliver it a day early.  Those bastards…
