No, not the Spectre, Arlen Specter, as in the PA senator. While I would say good riddance, this appearantly has some impact in regards to filibusters and the like. Also, even though the GOP doesn’t like him, he’s not exactly the Dem’s favorite person either. I’ll have to keep my eyes open on this one, I’m kinda curious what this will mean when it comes time for re-election. Hopefully this will mean that we get someone worthwhile here.

Myself, I’m also nolonger really a fan of the GOP. I ain’t going Democrat however. I may go Pirate, not because I agree with their policies, I just think that would be make a kick ass registration card. Actually, I probably won’t join them. I have problems political parties that are run globally.
