According to the blog that I linked to before, Amazon has responded, stating that it’s an embarrassing and ham-fisted cataloging error, which basically points to exactly what I had been saying before. The reply also states that it wasn’t just gaybooks but any books about sex, whether they are erotic, medical, gay, straight, or what have you.
There is more here, where we learn that the who mess was caused by a frenchman, in France. And while I am not one to believe everything I read online, I am one to blame anything I can on France.
