I got the invite to my 10 year reunion the other day.  Ten years out of highschool.  Has it really been that long?  Sure, i’m only 28 (29 when the actual reunion comes around), and I probably have at least another hundred years or so before the harsh signs of aging actually start to show.  But it doesn’t change the fact that these little things just make me feel so damn old every now and then.

Likewise, I recently came across my friend Joe’s little sister on Facebook.  Until then, I had just pictured her as I last remembered her.  In the several years since I had last seen her however, she has grown into an attractive young woman.  Again, feeling a little old.  Then I see that she is only a year younger than my ex.  Now I’m a little intrigued.  Then I remember what her father told me about ever even thinking about just being in the same room with either of his daughters, and I am nolonger intrigued, in fact, I’m not feeling old at all anymore.  Now I’m just feeling scared.  I really hope he has no clue that I have this blog here…

How dare you think of anyone other than your betrothed!

I didn’t get an invite to the reunion. I wasn’t planning on attending anyway, but I would have liked to have been able to shred the invitation.

    Also: Joe’s dad: Still funny.
    Colons: not funny
