First, I guess we’d have the food. Both the Steelersgirlenator and myself were the ones who cooked. She made a couple of awesome baked goods, a Guinness chocolate cake, and chocolate stout butter cream cupcakes, along with enchiladas and a great taco dip. I made my special shrimp pasta and and the Jeff Comb’s tortilla soup, both of which turned out awesome. I also stopped by the local Giant Eagle and wound up in their cheese room. I say room because this was no little cheese island that I am used to, it was a giant space dedicated to cheesey goodness, so I also put together a cheese tray. Once there, we also made some bacon burgers, the cheddar vanished somewhere, so we didn’t have cheese for everybody, but I did have crumbly blue cheese, which is good…
Anyways, shortly after arriving, and drinking a couple of Guinness, the game started. Awesome interception by Harrison in the second quarter
Palamalu had a couple of great hits that I think got glossed over, as well as a couple of spectacular misses. Not sure if he was off his game a little, or if the Cards were just that good at dodging.
I had been drinking heavily though, so that could just be my drunken perspective…
Great game over all. Close at the end, and had us all worried. I think that Steelersgirlenator spent the second half in tears either because she was so happy that we were winning, or because she thought we were going to lose. Thankfully, in the end, they were tears of joy, and now we have six rings.
The commercials weren’t all that memorable, other than a small handful.
And a couple of great movie trailers, and here’s four of them
The Fast and the Furious was only good in that it provided us with a good laugh with a couple of inside jokes, the other two look great and should hopefully fill my nerdy movie needs, and as stated already below, I am very excited for Transformers 2.
