So, a long time ago, in a land far far away, and by that, I mean several months and in L.A., a journalist wrote an article about how Barack was a black man that white people could vote for because they feel guilty about how blacks were treated. the article went on to state how he was articulate, well dress, and all the other good things that Al Sharpton is not. The article also had a rather funny title…
Now, I could point out that the basis of the article should have been to tell young black people to look at what happens when you learn to speak properly, pull your pants, and work hard. Instead, i’ll be focusing on the hilarious song that was written.
“Barack the magic negro”
A song written about an article with a ridiculous headline. Is the song about race, well yeah, because thats what the article was about. But does that make it racist? I don’t really think so.
Now, if you wait until everybody has forgotten about the article, then find a republican who likes the song…
Instant racist. Doesn’t matter if he liked it because of the political satire that it truely was, nope, he’s an evil Republikkken.
On a related note, Has Barack ever said anything in regards to the song or the article?
