We were talking at work one day. Someone mentioned an article that they had read in regards to relationships that you develop at work. They stated that per the article you have someone that is your work spouse. This is someone that you hang out with at work, when you have breaks or lunches, you are out with them. You have your inside jokes and may even go out for drinks after your shift. You do things for each other that you wouldn’t do for other people.

Now, there isn’t necessarily anything sexual about this relationship. The two of you are just really good friends. Kinda like House and that guy who writes his prescriptions.

Anyways, if I were to have a work wife, it would probably be Steelersgirlenator. Especially since everybody else changed shifts and left the two of us alone. We even planned out our wedding. But it has all ended.

I have discovered something horrible about her. I was relating to her how I had discovered that Howard the Duck is now available on DVD, and she said she hated it. This is a movie that I saw way back in the day in 1987 or so when it first aired on TV. I loved this movie, and still do. Really, what’s not to like? It’s got Lea Thompson (in sexy lingerie too), and she has sex with a duck. It has a bar fight with a duck in a diner. There are crazy scientists and Dark Overlords. And there is even a flash of a duck chick taking a bath… Seriously, this is a freaking awesome movie.

How could you hate this movie? Isn’t the fourth law of thermodynamics that George Lucas cannot make a bad movie?

I have been waiting for it to come out since DVDs were released way back in 96, and it never came. Now, 12 years later, it finally comes out. And I don’t mean some crappy VHS transfer sold on Ebay like my friend Judd bought, I’m talking the real deal. This should be a notice to anybody who wants to buy me something for Christmas.

What they need now are some Howard action figures. Someone call Macfarlane and pitch this idea to him. Who couldn’t use a fully articulated Dark Overlord or Lea Thompson in lingerie?
